ACCA currently has an exciting and challenging opportunity for the position of Communications Manager, based in our Warsaw office. As Communications Manager you will be responsible for strengthening ACCA’s brand recognition in Poland and supporting business development through PR and marketing activities with particular focus on digital communication. Specifically, the job will deliver progress with ACCA market recognition among general public, finance professionals and university students.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy
• Develop and implement a communication strategy for ACCA Poland
• Marketing
• Manage and improve ACCA Poland presence at ACCA global, ACCA Poland and cfosummit.pl
• Manage ACCA Poland social media presence (including Facebook, LinkedIn, GoldenLine and internet forums)
• Plan and coordinate on-line marketing campaigns
• Develop local marketing materials in cooperation with the CHQ
• Plan and manage communication with ACCA Poland students and members
• Lead on the monitoring of brand guidelines and key messages
• Cooperate with Marketing and Advertising Agencies
PR
• Write interesting and effective press releases, prepare other content for the media based on ACCA reports and insights, own research and interviews with members
• Support with PR activities major ACCA Poland initiatives
• Build and manage relationships with key journalists
• Negotiate with the media cooperation conditions
• Cooperate with PR Agency
Other
• Conduct presentations about ACCA at various conferences, workshops and meetings
• Work very closely with the Head of ACCA Poland to provide vital contributions to ACCA business plans, budgets and forecasts
• Prepare required reports and information
Desired Skills & Experience:
• Possess a Master’s degree in Marketing, PR or similar studies and/or equivalent work experience
• Demonstrable experience in digital strategy creation and implementation
• Demonstrable experience in managing social media projects
• Demonstrable experience of creating and delivering presentations
• Exceptional written communications skills, with ability to adapt style to suit different communications media and audiences
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team, and willingness to 'pitch in' as required in a small organisation
• Fluent in Polish and English
• Willing to travel within Poland
